We needed to return our car, and re-rented a car again
at Roanoke Airport this morning, and Kerry & Sue kindly
came along to the airport to send us off.
We drove down I-81 to Bristol, Virginia to see the painting
of the Carters, Jimmie Rodgers, the Stonemans, and Ralph
Peer on the old brick wall.
We visited the Carter Fold in Hiltons, Virginia afterwards.
We enjoyed the museum, the theater, A. P. Carter's cabin,
and we had a picnic having country ham biscuits from
Wayne and Joy.
We did enjoy seeing the rural scenery in Virginia.
Then, the rain welcomed us when we arrived at Nashville.
Unfortunately, I cannot edit the photos by hotel PC, so
here is my blog without any photo.
Sorry...
